Shipping and Returns
We offer a door to door shipping service. This means that anyone at your address can sign receipt of the parcel. Our 3rd Party Courier will not enter the premises and will hand the parcel over at the door / reception.
We ship nationally to all towns in South Africa but cannot deliver to rural areas, farms or PO Boxes.
Delivery lead times vary depending on location. Main centers may expect their delivery within 7 working days from placing their order for our standard ranges, although we do not guarantee this. Outlying areas will take longer. All goods that are in transit are insured. No reparations for late deliveries (longer than 12 days) will be offered.
Custom Made items will have a further 3 working days for design time.

Warranty
Our products carry a 6 month warranty from the date of purchase, within which any manufacturing defects will be addressed and faulty products swopped out for a replacement. Our UV printed outdoor canopies carry a 2 year “no fade” guarantee.
Returns
ALL ITEMS MUST BE INSPECTED ON DELIVERY AND SIGNED FOR AND ONLY ACCEPTED IF THEY ARE IN GOOD ORDER. If they are DELIVERED damaged, do not accept the item, but ask the courier to take it back to the depot. This is important as damaged items will not be accepted for refunds. RETURNS POLICY ON OUR STANDARD RANGES: South Shade wants you to be 100% satisfied with your product! We are primarily an online retailer, so we know your delivery is the first face to face meeting with your purchase. We will refund, in full, any item returned to us within 3 months of purchase, as long as it comes back in the original packaging, is in perfect condition and contains a copy of the purchase invoice in the box. All returns will be inspected for damage before refunds are processed.
RETURNS POLICY ON OUR CUSTOM MADE ITEMS: South Shade wants you to be 100% satisfied with your product! Production of your canopy will not start until you have sent back a signed copy of the printed design, indicating your acceptance of and satisfaction with the proposed print. However, once the signed copy has been received, we cannot refund the canopy.
Refunds are offered in the original method the payment was made. It can take up to 7 working days to process refunds, and another 2-3 working days for the refund to reflect in your account. If a product cannot be supplied for whatever reason, South Shade will refund you.
No refunds are offered on SALE items.
